We follow them over the course of 24-hours starting at 11:59 PM on June 5th, 1945, and ending at Midnight, June 7th. Each begins the story the same, but wildly different paths lay ahead of each of them, as they must battle to survive D-Day. This is not just the story of the largest invasion in history, only made possible with the generative tools we have available today, but an inside visual experience of the bloodiest 27 minutes in human history. In my work I like to focus on choice, but more importantly human choice, and how we choose, wrestle with it and ultimately make those decisions that can reverberate beyond us and even time. Had it not been for men like these fictional characters who embody the spirit of those actual soldiers who laid their lives down that day, the world we live in would not exist.
